What is teeth whitening?

Teeth whitening lightens teeth and helps to remove stains and discoloration. Whitening is among the most popular cosmetic dental procedures because it can greatly improve how your teeth look. Most dentists have performed teeth whitening, and continues to perform today, even though there is more effective solutions in the market.

Whitening is not a one-time procedure. It will need to be repeated from time to time if you want to maintain the bright and white teeth.

Whitening is not a permanent solution. The stains will come back. If you smoke or consume a lot of staining foods or drinks, you may see the whiteness start to fade in as little as one month. If you avoid these sources of staining, you may not need another whitening treatment for 6 to 12 months.

However, buy purchasing Oraldents™ products, you can always do the re-whitening after you feel that your teeth would need to be re-whitened. With Oraldents™, you can whiten your teeth as often as you need to. Discuss your whitening schedule with your dentist. You can talk about what whitening products would work best for you.

Why teeth gets stained?

The most common reasons for teeth to get yellow or stained are:

  • - Using tobacco
  • - Drinking dark-colored liquids such as coffee, cola, tea and red wine
  • - Not taking good care of your teeth

Why is Oraldents™ good for you compared to other Teeth-Whitening products?

Oraldents™ is a sensitive guy who likes to stand out from the crowd. His whitening prowess is based on a safe and simple non-peroxide formula, clinically proven to whiten teeth without any of the harmful stuff usually used to create the same results.

Peroxide based products are known to penetrate through the tooth’s enamel which means that although they can prove effective in stripping teeth of stains, they can be seriously harmful to your inner tooth and cause irreversible damage and sensitivity over time. Side effects like receding gums, mouth irritation, thinning tooth enamel, chemical burns and bleeding gums are never glam, no matter how white your smile may be. These side effects led to the revision of EU/UK Cosmetic Laws on Peroxide based products, which now state that any teeth whitening product with over 0.5% peroxide must be administered by a dental professional. This isn’t enough for any visible change so your search for those pearly whites could lead with a hefty hole in your pocket as well as your tooth!

Enter, Oraldents™. Due to its peroxide free formula, Oraldents™ whitening strips are one of the kindest ways to whiten your teeth - ensuring that hollywood smile without lasting sensitivity or risk to your gum health. The easy to use whitening strips come in 2, 4 or 6 week courses along with resting period intervals, to ensure you’re treating those gnashers with the respect they deserve.

How do I use Oraldents™ teeth whitening strips?

Step 1
In each packet you will find 14 sachets that each contain 2 teeth whitening strips – an upper strip (longer one) and a lower strip (shorter one).
Tear along the top of the sachet to reveal the strips.
Taking an edge, pull the soft strip off the plastic film, face the gel side to the surface of the tooth.

Step 2
For best results, dry your teeth before applying the strip.
Looking in a mirror, align the straight edge of the strip to the gum.
Gently press and adjust the strip with the finger to secure onto teeth.
Fold the rest of the strip behind teeth to keep in place.

Step 3
Wear Oraldents™ teeth whitening strips in your mouth for 30 mins. Do not eat or drink in this time as it may move or unstick the teeth strips.
Remove and discard the used strip.
Clean off any remaining gel residue by brushing your teeth or gargling.
Admire your white smile!

My teeth are sensitive, can I use the strips?

Yes! As Oraldents™ Whitening strips do not contain any peroxide, they will not damage your teeth or cause any sensitivity. So you can still use them if you have sensitive teeth.

How often should I use the whitening strips?

In each box you get 14 strips lasting 2 weeks. So we recommend using the strip each day for 30 minutes until you have completed your 2 week course of Oraldents™.

How long should I keep the strips on for?

Please keep the strips on your teeth for no longer than 30 minutes. The strips will not cause any damage or sensitivity on your enamel if you leave them a little longer but we recommend that you stick to the 30 minutes per day.

Do I apply the strips to wet or dry teeth?

We recommend drying your teeth before applying the strips. This way they will stick better and not slide around when they are on your teeth giving you better results and a whiter smile.

Can I sleep with the strips on my teeth?

No! We recommend sticking to the 30 minutes per day.

I have a cap (crown) on my tooth. Can I still use this product?

Sure, your crown may have a little bit of discolouration just like your other teeth. The strips will clean all your teeth but will only get the crown back to its original colour.

I have braces on my teeth. Can I still use the strips?

Unfortunately because the strips need to be placed directly against your teeth, you will have to wait till you have the braces removed.

How long will it take till I see results?

You will start seeing results after the first few days of using your Oraldents™ Whitening strips. You will have significantly whiter teeth after the 14 days. For longer lasting whiteness, we recommend completing the full 6 weeks supply.

Are our teeth whitening strips safe?

Using Oraldents products is 100% safe. Our products do not contain any of the harmful ingredients that are popular in some other products in the markets.
